CCLS
California Certified Legal Secretary
LSI administers the California Certified Legal
Secretary (CCLS) certification exam for secretaries with at least three years'
experience. The one-day exam is given semi-annually and covers California
legal procedures, legal terminology, reasoning and ethics, law office
administration, communications, legal computations, and performance
skills. SCCoLPA sponsors study groups for anyone who wishes to prepare for the
examination.
If you are interested in sitting for the CCLS exam
given March 19, 2009, a 23-week study course is planned to begin September 25,
2008. This course of study will help prepare you to take the CCLS exam. Click

Continuing legal education requirements must be met
for recertification by LSI. SCCoLPA sponsored classes meet these requirements.
